31 Days {Green}

{Green}

As the leaves turn from green to autumn browns, reds, yellows, and oranges, I see the change in seasons. A reminder that life is always a season. Changing. Moving forward. Another Fall. Soon, another winter will be here. As all the seasons change, cycling back around, my heart needs something constant. Something to remind me that not all things change. Some things remain the same.

My God never changes. His Word is ever true. Never waivering. Not even the rain or snow can change the sureness of His Word. My God is the same. Always faithful. Always righteous. Always loving. Always holy. The green will fade, the flowers and trees will die to make room for winter’s cold blast.

My season of life seems to be in something like the beginning of autumn. Still a little green from Spring, but turning brown and yellow, making way for the colder air. A season which might include a little less sunlight….but my God is still the same.

He isn’t my spring. My God is not my green season….He is all of my seasons. He is always there. Nothing in this life is certain, but God and His Word. Never changing. Always faithful, no matter the season.
