Daily Grace (Giveaway)

Daily Grace Image

I’ve been thinking so much about living in the daily. Abiding is all about living TODAY. Its about being present. I worry so much about tomorrow, and if there will be enough. Enough joy. Enough strength. Enough provision. Enough….grace. But there is. Always. Because my God is a God of enough. He has called me to live in the present. And He’s right here with me. Reading my Bible and prayer are two of the best ways I can stay focused on living in the daily.

Each week in March I would love to offer you some scripture and a prayer to encourage you to dig deeper into God’s word as we learn to live in the daily. I’ve also offered it as a PDF so you can print off and stick in your Bible with your daily reading. I’ll be sharing one every Tuesday! These are great for Bible Journaling and Prayer Cards! They make great coloring activities for your little ones! 🙂

  1. The things I do strictly for myself is reading!! I love Christian Living and thankfully since I review them I get a lot for free!!

  2. Thank you for the great giveaway! What I do for myself is write. It helps me sort out all the thoughts that are going through my head all the time. Have a great week!

  3. Lately I’ve been crocheting a baby blanket for my sister-in-law and it’s been so relaxing and fulfilling to have a creative outlet, yet still be able to watch TV or talk to my husband while I’m doing it!

  4. Thank you for the reminder to live in the daily! For me, getting up an hour early, before I wake up the kids, to have coffee; to read the Bible/do a women’s Bible study; pray; and write is what causes me to breathe.

  5. Such a great giveaway! I write just about every day. I homeschool my kids and we have “quiet hour” in the afternoon. The girls are allowed to sit in their rooms with books or quiet activities while I make a cup of coffee, plunk myself on the couch and either write, work on my latest editing project, catch up on e-mails or just breathe. It’s beautiful. (PS Found you on Women with Intention Wednesdays.)

  6. I like to read, crochet, and exercise. These three things really relax me and I can tell when I haven’t had time to do any of them…I am more cranky. Even my husband notices when I haven’t done anything for myself and tells me he likes me better when I’ve exercised or have read a book. :o)

  7. I read. a lot. I also really enjoy writing. I love to spend time in adoration, where I read some more. I also enjoy just cuddling with hubby and the only kid in the house who isn’t too cool for cuddling, my 10 year old daughter, and watching silly tv (like treehouse builders or the little couple)

  8. I do not do very much just for me. I try to read a bit and look at some websites like this one for my down time.

    Thank you.

  9. I have different parts of the day that I try to focus on self care. LIke in the morning I have my coffee and just relax and in the evening I have tea and usually read or watch a show.

    1. Right now, my me time is working on this blog (and my morning devo and prayer before getting started for the day).

  10. Up and Adam-Reading the Word of God. Enjoy COFFEE! Just fun to learn and read, love to plan, love rocks. Sunshine or rain love them both.

    1. And I write letters and read for fun! That’s mega joy. I like Henri Nouwen’s quote, “You must choose joy and choose it every day.”

  11. I enjoy reading. It is strictly my time after everyone is settled. I love to go back and read journal entries also. Especially from when the kids were little. Time sure flys

  12. A great giveaway as it is something tangible to remind us to live in the present. Thanks for sharing with us at #OvertheMoon.

  13. I love to read, but that is also something I do for my kids… I have really enjoyed running and that is all for me – time to listen to any music I want and remind myself that I do have a little bit of control over my body – being able to train it to be in shape.

  14. Favorite activity? I have a few I enjoy: morning coffee in a quiet house, working out, blogging, and laughing with my family.

I love the journal in this giveaway!!

  15. What an encourager you are!! Thanks! The giveaway looks beautiful! Happy to be visiting you, Sarah, at the Linkup at Coffee for Your Heart.

  16. One of the things I do for myself is to play the piano at home. I also get to share my music with others as a church pianist.

  17. I listen to the local Christian radio station on my way home (about a 30 minute drive) to try to breathe again before I get to the house.
