Daily Grace Printable and Tuesday Talk

Welcome to TUESDAY TALK!

I’m so glad to have you join me this Tuesday for our weekly Tuesday Talk Link-Up!

Grace is more than just a nice word to summarize our salvation. Grace is the ability for my God to demonstrate all of Who He is in one motion. Grace is rooted in forgiveness.

He is justice. He is faithful. He forgives. When I John spoke about sin in our life, He made sure to begin with: He is faithful and just to forgive of us our sin. Faithful and just. Not just faithful. Not just just. He is both.

I had a hard time wrapping my head around the idea that God was both: Faithful and Just. Yet, He is. The death of Jesus satisfied the payment sin required. God was not unjust by forgiving us. He didn’t just wipe our sin clean. It fell on Christ.

So, today – the blood is enough. On this very ordinary day, with kids running around outside and the girls taking a nap, the blood is enough. On the days my sin are right in front of me, the blood is enough. When I regret past choices, the enemy brings to mind, I can say with confidence: the blood is enough.

The blood is enough for today. I need it daily. I realize I can ask forgiveness, daily and He is faithful to forgive.

Open Your Bible

1 John 1:9 – “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

Isaiah 16:5 – “Then a throne will be established in steadfast love, and on it will sit in faithfulness in the tent of David one who judges and seeks justice and is swift to do righteousness.”
Romans 3:24 – “and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus”
Romans 5:15-20 – “Now the law came in to increase the trespass, but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more,”

Open Your Heart

O Father of forgiveness, I bring my sins before you. I pray Your joy, strength, portion, and love cover my life. In You, I find grace. In You I find the freedom to say: I am forgiven. You are both faithful and just. Because of Christ, I can stand before You in the light of grace. Let me say with confidence today: The Blood of Christ is enough. Amen.

Write Your Thoughts

  1. What guilt and shame do you hold fro your past?
  2. How does not accepting God’s grace demonstrate unbelief in the cross?
  3. How can God be faithful AND just?
  4. Today, can you say with confidence: The blood of Christ is enough? If not, why?
