Daily Strength Printable and Tuesday Talk

Welcome to TUESDAY TALK!

I’m so glad to have you join me this Tuesday for our weekly Tuesday Talk Link-Up!

I know you feel empty. I’ve felt it too. I’ve been in the roller coaster of adoption paperwork and just felt devoid of everything. Joy. Peace. Strength. Those times saw me run to the One who promised me these things.

As I tried to fill my heart with scripture reading, I had in mind I had to fill it all up so that I would feel better for awhile. I pictured myself reading all of those Psalms so that I could move through the coming weeks. Nope. I found strength for that day. But then, I woke up the next day feeling empty again.

One little blimp in the adoption process threw me into a panic! Where was this strength I had just yesterday? It is in the same place it was just the day before: In Him.

Each week in March I would love to offer you some Daily Grace to encourage you to dig deeper into God’s word as we learn to live in the daily. I’ve also offered it as a PDF so you can print off, cut out the different sections, and stick them in your Bible. Find the Daily Joy printable here.

Daily Strength

Open Your Bible

2 Corinthians 12:9-10
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

1 Peter 5:10
And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.
Isaiah 40:29
He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength.

Isaiah 40:11
He will tend his flock like a shepherd;
    he will gather the lambs in his arms;
he will carry them in his bosom,
    and gently lead those that are with young.

Isaiah 40:31
but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength;
    they shall mount up with wings like eagles;
they shall run and not be weary;
    they shall walk and not faint.

Open Your Heart

Dear Lord, today I need strength. Strength to just get through my day. Strength to complete the tasks before me. You know my to-do list. Help me to rely on Your strength today. I know how weak and tired I am. Emotionally. Physically. Spiritually. Lift me up in Your power today. Amen.

Write Your Thoughts

What do you need strength to do today?
Why do you feel so tired and worn down?
What can you let go of, that you have no control over?
How can you rely on God’s strength? Believe He will use you, through your weakness?

  1. Love all these verses for daily strength Sarah! I have heard about Tuesday Talk but this is my first time here, I have met Ruthie through Christian Bloggers Bootcamp by Arabah Joy. i love what you are doing here. I am blessed that Jesus offers His strength and wisdom to me each day. All we have to do is ask. It is my desire to trust Him as I take it one day at a time. As I have learned since the stroke, tomorrow is not promised. I will trust His provision of what I need each day. Thanks again for sharing your heart and these wonderful scriptures. May God richly bless you and yours in all your endeavors. Have a wonderful week!
