The fear comes at night when the lights turn out. I can feel the darkness as a tangible sadness. It feels real, the darkness of depression. Sometimes it feels like a weight on my chest.   1. Thanks, Sarah, for your insights here. I just read a book about loneliness in which the author talked about the loneliness of being in the dark which, for me, is not a problem, but it’s good to know where others are struggling.
