How to Choose the Best This Season

Happy December!

Last month I shared with you my heart via a free devotional series. Prepare Your Heart for Advent!  It is still available. Click here to join our communities and prepare your heart for Christmas.

As I spend this month resting, and refreshing, I’ve realized saying “no” is the going to be the key for me. One of the things I’ve decided to say “no” to is the blog for the month of December. I plan to use the next few weeks preparing and planning for 2018!

I love and appreciate all of my readers.
You are all such great encouragers here.

Check below for some news and a new resource! 🙂

If you are struggling with feeling overwhelmed with this holiday season, I challenge you to take my “Finding Your Best” challenge. In this three-page PDF printable, you will answer questions to help you find what you can say “no” to and what you can say “yes” to this season! Download it here.

Don’t forget about God’s Word this season. From the beginning God desired to bring light to the darkness. The night seasons were never forever. And for so many years God was silent, but light suddenly burst forth! Just as the people of God waited for God to rescue them, over and over again, we find ourselves waiting.

Let’s read through passages focusing on the Light of God and His promise of a Savior. I’m ready to see the light in the middle of my darkness. Are you?

  1. Sarah, I’m sad, too, but I understand that things change. You and the link-up have been a blessing to me and I know to many others. I’ll look forward to what God does in this space in the coming year. Blessings!

  2. Sarah, thank you for the past link ups and appreciate your hard work to make them happen. Peace and rest for your December break! Blessings!

  3. What does one do if the problem that is causing a huge amount of stress (I mean so much stress that I think I may have had a breakdown of some sort) is a family member who will not t take no for answer? Or who, when they are told no, will become hateful to the point of me or my husband not knowing what this person might do? This particular individual was told she wasn’t allowed to just pick her grandkids yup or of the yard and take them to get house without asking. She decided to call DHR and file a false report.
How did you say no to that?
